Prestige resets progress for permanent bonuses, unlike an ordinary retry. Reference: Steam game data static configuration; reset results and item-by-item retention are not play-tested. Historical video builds are unknown.
Retry, upgrades and Prestige answer different problems
Retry starts another attempt; a skill-tree purchase upgrades or unlocks an ability; Prestige resets progress.
Check the intended unlock’s currency in resources and prerequisites in the skill tree.
Starting-resource entries in the current
Configured starting resources by highest-level requirement; exact clear recognition and button eligibility are not established:
| Highest-level requirement | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | 500 | 100 | 5 | 2 |
| 3 | 10,000 | 5,000 | 20 | 4 |
| 5 | 40,000 | 40,000 | 40 | 6 |
These are initial balances, not additive rewards. Runtime tier selection and accumulation across resets are not verified.
The configuration excludes endless difficulty from Prestige; this does not establish that endless mode is available in the .
Requirement 5 does not prove a playable fifth level: only three level configurations are referenced. See stages and Save boundaries.
Prestige points and the Priest
Cleric costs Prestige points and unlocks Priest healing of 3 HP to all heroes every 3 seconds. Prestige alone is not established to grant Priest.
Cluckers Brood Gaming’s June 24, 2026 video follows a reset warning, Prestige and a narrated Priest restart; the purchase moment is unclear. See historical first Prestige.
A useful pre-reset checklist
-
Check the enabled button and displayed progress requirement.
-
Read the reset warning and displayed starting resources.
-
Check the intended post-reset upgrade’s currency, prerequisites and version lock.
-
After restarting, inspect balances, nodes and recruited heroes.
No measured reset schedule supports always resetting immediately or waiting for the next tier.
What persists?
The official store confirms permanent bonuses. The June video reads “All progress will be reset. Only prestige rewards remain.” This historical warning is not a current retention table for currencies, heroes, nodes or stage unlocks.
Read your installed version’s warning before confirming. Save inheritance and compensation are separate from Prestige: Saves and compatibility.
